A famous tradition is to make a New Year's Resolution; A promise to one's self, or a goal that one sets for ones' self that that person makes at the beginning of a year to mark a new beginning. So I made a list of a few New Year's Resolutions that I hope to accomplish this year.
.) Make it a more important priority to arrive at school on time. I've noticed I've been late a lot lately-- even if by 2 or 3 minutes. My resolution is to leave earlier so that I'm not always late.
.) Be more patient. I have little/no patience for...well...anything. A lot of the time, you can't always control how fast everything happens. So being impatient only makes you more angry, instead of leading to anything productive.
.) Read more. Reading is great for your imagination and creativity, as well as your comprehension and understanding. Plus, its just fun.
.) Be more spontaneous. Life can't always consist of following a routine and settling into a boring, mind-numbing life, can't it? Why even have a life if you're going to spend every day doing the same thing? Every once-in-a-while, I should try to do something fun or light-hearted or unexpected. Just because.
